Our client is looking for a Software Engineer / Integration Consultant.  Candidates should have 4 plus years experience in software development and / or integration projects. Automation experience in the manufacturing sector is strongly preferable.

You will support full life cycle software development and integration projects for our clients. To be successful, you must have exceptional technical, analytical, and business skills

Your Responsibilities….

        
  • Support all and potentially lead some phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development and / or configuration, testing and implementation activities
  •     
  • Assess complex technical environments and define requirements for integration of new solutions
  •     
  • Work with customers to understand business requirements and document functional and technical specifications
  •     
  • Design and develop / configure solutions using Microsoft technologies, SQL Server, and third party manufacturing applications
  •     
  • Test and implement new systems
  •     
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Desired Skills and Experience

Innovative, highly technical professional with strong business acumen and demonstrated experience and success in full life cycle development projects. Specific requirements include: 

        
  • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a substantial computer science component, or diploma with a s/w development or BSA focus 
  •     
  • 4+ years experience in full life cycle software development inclusive of:    
              
    • Experience working with customers as part of the software development process
    •         
    • Participating in the design and development of complex systems, including development of multi-tier enterprise scale applications
    •         
    • Experience using Microsoft tools, including C#, VB.NET and SQL Server is preferred
    •     
        
  •     
  • Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and multi tasking skills 
  •     
  • Ability to travel throughout the USA and potentially Europe
  •     
  • Note: due to onsite client work in the USA, candidates must be Canadian or Mexican citizens to qualify for a TN or E1 visa, or hold a US Passport or Green Card.
