Talentcor Edmonton has permanent careers available for ‘Dozer/ Grader Operators’, in northern Alberta surrounded by majestic mountains, and beautiful lakes!

  • Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way, conforming to all relevant legislation, policies, operating manuals and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that equipment operation is maintained in keeping with production targets.
  • Troubleshoot problems, perform minor maintenance as required, and notify the supervisor of any mechanical or production issues throughout the shift.
  • Complete daily reports and time sheets as required.
  • Attend and participate in toolbox meetings.
  • Notify the supervisor immediately of any incident or near-miss and participate in any resulting investigation.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks as required.

  • Some high school education is required, a grade 12 diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Industrial experience operating mine equipment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures/standards.
  • Knowledge of mobile heavy equipment names
  • Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance requirements
  • Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Knowledge of Basic First Aid and WHMIS.
