On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Senior Information Services Consultant for a 1 month contract position working from home.

Senior Information Services Consultant Job Details

  • The Senior consultant assumes responsibility for execution of components of large technology implementations, providing leadership to members of the project team, delivering consulting services to a variety of clients.
  • On smaller projects, the consultant is responsible for managing all phases from inception to close-out, managing scope changes, and advocating our solutions and capabilities to the customer. Consultants have strong technical skills, an understanding of best practices, and are able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, from C level executives to technical staff. They collaborate with the customer to identify opportunities, assist in developing scope, capture solution requirements, and relate the technology to the business value. Senior consultants are subject matter experts (SME) within a technology space, and generalists in other technology areas, able to advocate a variety of solutions. Continually monitoring market trends, they are responsible for envisioning solutions and deriving business value from new technology, assisting in creating solution offerings.

Senior Information Services Consultant Responsibilities

  •  Knowledge transfer to Business and Technology partners
  • Convey customer feedback to product teams
  • Participate in and provide project status meetings
  • Deliver consistent performance and take strong personal responsibility and accountability for practice tasks and project assignments
  • Help drive consistency in service delivery across client engagements through direct participation and coaching
  • Conduct meetings/focus groups and training sessions with business partners and/or business unit "end-users"
  • Author, review, approve, and assist in the creation of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle including proposals, feasibility studies, business cases, project charters, conceptual designs, detailed designs and testing plans
