Talentcor and partnered with a well-respected Owner Manager that has been in business since 1968. They have offices in Toronto, Hamilton and Calgary with a total portfolio of over 3.3 million square feet of office, retail and industrial. The company has a very hand on approach and long-term property holds. Our client is looking to hire a Senior Building Operator to look after a 1.4 million square foot portfolio of office and retail properties in downtown Hamilton, Ontario.

This person will be responsible for maintaining the mechanical equipment such as pumps, boilers, air handlers, cooling towners, fire systems in a commercial office tower/retail complex. This position will ensure that the assigned complex of buildings are managed and maintained preventatively in a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manner. The position will be on a rotating 12-hour continental shift

To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of a 4th class ticket with preference towards those individuals that have completed a 3rd class. You will bring experience in power plant operations or large retail. You will need to be a team player and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will also be required.
