Talentcor is currently recruiting for Bilingual Registered Nurse positions to work in the province of Quebec or Ottawa area. We are seeking a bilingual Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room/Vascular Access to join our Clinical Teaching Team.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the 3M Medical Solutions Division sales team to provide clinical support and training to front line healthcare providers (i.e. Nurses, Surgeons, Anesthesia, RT) during evaluations, trials and/or implementation of products/equipment for skin antisepsis, patient warming, temperature monitoring and vascular access products.

Responsibilities:

•         Experienced Registered Nurse.

•         Registered with your Provincial College of Nurses in good standing

•         Operating room experience is preferred

•         Must have strong communication skills

•         A valid driver's license is required with access to your own vehicle.

•         Must be bilingual in FRENCH

•         Must be able to use computer (will be provided) with experience in basic excel, Microsoft word, outlook, sharepoint, skype.

•         Must have access to own printer and cell phone.

•         Available a minimum of 7 weekday days per month (preferably consecutive days).

•         Assignments may be local or require travel, which will involve overnight stays, and minimal weekends.

•         Hours are typically 8 hours shifts which may include: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9pm-5pm or 1pm-9pm Monday to Friday

•         Other clinical experience will be considered for: ICU, ER, PACU, or Labour and Delivery

•         Ability to attend product education and training sessions and demonstrate full product knowledge.

•         Manage travel and accommodation reservations.
Other qualifications

•         Previous clinical teaching and experience with medical equipment or medical products is an asset

•         CPN(C) is an asset

•         Candidates must have strong self-motivation and time management ability. Travel up to 80% depending on location of residence.

•         Knowledge of ORNAC/ NAPANA Standards, Safer Healthcare Now Guidelines, CORL guidelines an asset 

•         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as there is a significant educational component to the role.
