Our client is one of BC’s most trusted and respected COR certified builders of wood frame, hi-rises and commercial developments is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor.

Some of the 10,000 homes they have built throughout British Columbia have been been their well-regarded developer partners, and some they have developed themselves. Their commitment to delivering homes of higher standards is paramount. Delivering on time and high quality product is the promise they make to their partners and their home owners. 

Due to their ever expanding project list, they are looking to hire a full time individual who will work from one of their Lower Mainland sites. This position is very important to the organization and shall be considered a long term commitment on their part and as such they are expecting the same from the person who will be joining the team.

The Quality Control Supervisor will report to one of the seasoned Site Superintendents.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Scope is taken at window stage to completion including trade rough in
  • Provide supervision of all aspects of interior details
  • Oversee interior labor and provide direction to them, inspect each trades work and ensure they are giving high quality
  • Enforce trades to complete deficiencies in timely manner before they proceed further, may be required to perform detailing tasks
  • Homeowners with an orientation may be required
For a successful application you must organized, disciplined and energetic with a passion for site work. You must be trustworthy, looking out for the best interests of the organization and looking to grow relationships. Maintaining a coherent flow of directives and information is essential, as is coordinating and controlling appropriate documentation with tractability between finished product and the personnel and organizations that created them. Communication that is open, regular and timely.

Red Seal Carpentry Ticket is desirable and or a combination of education and work experience as well as a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant wood frame and hi-rise construction experience. Experience with drywall repair, painting, and miscellaneous carpentry would be advantageous but flooring and tile experience is essential.
