Overview of Job Responsibilities, Tasks and Duties

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is required to support the companies Quality Management System Policies in manufacturing, therefore the candidate will work closely with all stakeholders, including engineers, supply chain, production, maintenance, R&D, etc. Familiarity with quality assurance procedures will be considered an asset. You will be responsible for

  • Helping to develop and execute internal audit plans at company facilities; documenting audits electronically; following audit action items to completion
  • Hosting and participating in external audits (ISO, regulatory, etc); documenting audits electronically; following audit action items to completion
  • Coordinating raw material specifications
  • Helping to implement and participate in the supplier operations program
  • Driving optimization of the Quality Management System
  • The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Pay close attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prioritize various requests, while working in a cross-functional team
  • Basic

    • College Diploma for Technician, University Degree in Science, Engineering or related degree
    • Experience in hosting and conducting audits
    • Controlled goods clearance is a requirement for this position

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Preferred candidate will have experience in quality assurance.
    • Years of experience: Minimum 2 years in manufacturing quality environment preferred

    Software Knowledge:

    • MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint); Minitab; knowledge of SAP an asset.
