Our client in Vancouver is looking for a hands-on Community Manager/Property Administrator who will be responsible for the care of property. This is a part time temp position with the possibility of going perm.

$20 - temp, but might go up when the position become permanent

Average weekly hours: 24

The ideal candidate is someone with some residential property management experience OR someone very willing and able to learn quickly. If you’re a strong and organized administrator, this is a great next step for you in your career!


• Ensuring suites are “rent ready” and facilitating the viewing of the suites

• Completing surveys of competitive properties on a bi-weekly basis

• Administering move-in deposits in accordance with provincial legislation

• Creation and maintenance of resident and unit records

• Ensuring all rents are received and cheques deposited

• Conducting suite inspections and coordinating maintenance as required

• Hosting Resident Events as required, and participating in tenant and staff community support events as appropriate

• Responsibility for the interior and exterior appearance of the property, including washing and vacuuming of floors, cleaning of glass and wiping of vertical surfaces

• Administering of security access cards and fobs, underground transmitters etc.

• Arranging, coordinating and supervising of trades such as carpet cleaners, painters, electricians, plumbers, etc. when necessary with the approval of the Regional Property Manager

• Residential property management experience/license will be considered an asset

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Ability to maintain a professional and presentable personal and office appearance at all times

• Ability to allocate time effectively, manage tight deadlines, work under pressure, and achieve quality results

• Basic Microsoft Office skills

• Flexible in hours – ensure availability for last day of each month and the first 2-3 days of the start of the month for move-in, move-outs, trades, and rent collection. Being on-call for emergencies occurring after regular office hours
