On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Project Manager - Human Resources.

Project Manager - Human Resources – Job Description

  • The main function of this project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate all activities related to the engineering, research and development, financial systems and Workday Implementation and roll-out, etc
  • The candidate will not be involved in any testing but is expected to define ALL new HR processes and operating rhythms related to payroll, new hires, contingent workforce, other HR initiatives, etc.
  • The defining of these processes must help improve the employee experience and reduce the cost and risks of operations
  • Perform research on problems, separating the symptoms from the actual cause, and identifies corrective measures. Seek opinions and feedback on alternative solutions and best practices and implement those that have been agreed upon by the team.
  • Demonstrate technical core HR/workforce administration expertise and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex challenges.

 Project Manager - Human Resources – Mandatory Skills

  • Candidate must have business PM experience and not Technology PM experience - Must have critical business mindset/readiness
  • Experience with Agile delivery as a PM
  • Experience working in Human Resources and foundational knowledge of HR practices, data, systems and processes.
  • High attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Workday team.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethics, setting an example for others
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills. Well-developed influencing, presentation, and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel initiatives within the Program
  • Broad strategic thinker, with clear vision and direction of world-class change management; ability to combine aggressive initiative with professional discipline and demeanor to accomplish difficult tasks through other people
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years related experience

  • Workday HCM Certification is a strong asset
