Our client, a water management solutions company, offers practical and innovative water management solutions for the construction, oil and gas, mining, forestry and industrial wastewater industries. Due to expansion and growth, they are looking to add a Junior/ Intermediate Project Manager/ Coordinator to their growing Calgary office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

        
  • Working closely with the Site Superintendent in coordinating man-power and scheduling delivery of equipment and supplies to site – ensuring project runs smoothly, on budget and set-schedule   
  •     
  • Deal with any conflicts and potential project delays as required – coordinating efforts with key personnel
  •     
  • Provide management with key data to assist with estimates, project budgets and schedules
  •     
  • Track project costs and progress – providing necessary reporting for management
  •     
  • Establish procedures for accurately maintaining project documentation
  •     
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of vendors supplying equipment, parts, and services – sourcing new suppliers as and when needed (considering key factors including, price, quality, delivery, reliability etc.)
  •     
  • Visit project site as and when required
  QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

        
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience
  •     
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to utilize MS Office. MS Project experience would be an asset
  •     
  • 2+ years’ experience in a project coordinator/ manager role within the civil construction industry would be desirable
  •     
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
