On behalf of our client in the Consulting Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Project Coordinator/Analyst.

Project Coordinator/Analyst – Job Description

  • Responsibilities for Project Analyst
  • Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets for financial (budget tracking and forecasting) and metrics analysis
  • Build and maintain Smartsheets for team collaboration
  • Build and maintain filters and dashboards in Jira
  • Build dashboards and reports in EazyBI (Jira Plug In)
  • Extract data from Jira for analysis in Excel
  • Develop and analyze metrics – including tracking, forecasting and reporting variance
  • Design/create data displays, reports, presentations
  • Administrative responsibilities (maintain team roster, application access, distribution lists, monitor time entry, etc.)
  • Assist with Communications strategy and help draft communications

Project Coordinator/Analyst – Mandatory Skills

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional research and reporting skills
  • Ability to derive insights from data
  • Meticulous when preparing communications and reports and data visualizations
  • Software – Excel, Jira (JQL, EazyBI, Script Runner), Powerpoint, Smartsheet, Word
  • General computer experience – quick learner new software and systems
  • Proactive
  • 2 years of analytical experience required
  • Has experience developing and analyzing metrics (here is the number and here is what it tells us) and producing insights
  • Has experience with designing effective data display (think Tufte data visualization)
  • Willingness to do some less interesting admin stuff (small percentage of time)
  • Great attention to detail and organization
  • Agile experience preferred but not required
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
