On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Intermediate Project Control Officer.

Intermediate Project Control Officer – Job Description

  • This team's responsibility is to deliver projects for business partners across the business org, with a focus on finance.
  • The team works with partners in Australia, Asia, UK, and the US.

  • There is a lot of support and flexibility in the team.
  • The resource would have exposure to multiple LOBS and work with partners at multiple levels.
  • There is opportunity for growth within the role, the resource would gain exposure and experience with different groups and processes.
  • The resource will work on a variety of projects but will focus on APAC projects, a treasury integration project with the US, and decommissioning items.
  • Create meeting agendas, take minutes (action items)
  • Facilitate working sessions
  • Create project schedules and change schedules according to project needs
  • Complete project documentation
  • Participate in meetings with clients and task members to determine progress of work and identify additional follow up needs
  • Provide general administrative support including monitoring calendar, setting up meetings, making travel and/or meeting arrangements, entering time and filing expense reports.

Intermediate Project Control Officer – Mandatory Skills

  • 3 + years of experience as a PCO
  • University degree
  • Experience working for a large matrix organization
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience working on multiple projects at the same time that extend over multiple years (ideally with differing project sizes)
  • Experience with regulatory projects
  • Relationship management skills
  • Able to manage different personalities and redirect conversation to the agenda
  • Able to ask the right questions to determine action items and to take accurate notes
  • Motivated, positive, and proactive
  • Sociable

Intermediate Project Control Officer – Nice to Have Skills

  • PMP certification or working towards it
  • Financial/big 5 bank experience
  • MS Project experience
