Role Summary

The Program Manager for Sales Readiness will have direct responsibility of: new hires and managing and developing people. They will play an integral role in the different phases of the new hire process and be squarely accountable for the execution of the New Hire Program, while aiding in its ongoing development and improvement. This role will also be responsible for aiding in the design, feedback loop and delivery of content during new hire on boarding, while ensuring execution by new hires and their managers. Lead, manage and coach the class and the class member’s managers and ensure preparedness of new hires and managers.

Major Areas of Responsibility

•Lead, manage and coach a new hire class of 10 new hires, approximately every 4 weeks. Set the tone of our culture, effectively tell the ADT story, and harvest the curiosity and urgency in our new hires to drive high levels of engagement.

•Conduct virtual or live training sessions with Residential, Small Business and /or Commercial Sales Representatives, and/or Sales Managers and / or Dealers across those same segments.

•Leverage skype and/or the telephone to execute 1:1s weekly with each new hire and their manager, outside of the content delivery to address any issues or concerns, to identify and spot check current knowledge levels and that the proper actions expected outside the instructor led environment are taking place.

•Act as a Subject Matter Expert on field training and development needs. Assist in development of new training programs to fulfill training needs.

•Partner closely with SMs and BMs to provide information about each class member prior to the new hire finishing all certification and other related expectations prior to “graduating” from the new hire program.

•Act as the co-leader/manager/coach in partnership with the direct manager and AGM, to ensure new hire success.

•Ensure preparedness of sales associates and managers, thereby increasing the probability of success and reduction of attrition.

•Travel time of 10-15% nationally.

Job Requirements

•High school and University or community college graduate with 5-7 years of combined sales and sales management experience.

Specialized knowledge:
•Experience facilitating and leading over the telephone and through video platforms.
•Process background, six sigma training/green belt certified a plus.
•Experience of both PC and MAC, as well as Zoom virtual platform.

•Advanced written and communication skills – English and French
•Customer service oriented.
•Negotiation skills.
•Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
•Organizational skills and detail oriented.
•Expert knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications. Security and automation experience
•Expert at listening, managing change, managerial courage and a selling value.
•Is a team player.

Work Environment

The Program Manager, Sales Readiness will work in various offices nationally.
