Production Manager
Job Description

Our client a leader in the Baked Goods sector is looking to add a Production Manager afternoon to their team. This is a full-time permanent role. The role is in the Southwest Toronto area.


Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all production activities for the afternoon shift
  • Works closely with the Senior Production Manager to ensure optimal performance
  • Follows and ensures all H&S processes are followed daily
  • Leads by example in a very hand on manner
  • Ensure adequate coverage to meet demand
  • Manages KPI’s ensuring recommendations for improvement and solutions to issues are identified
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team to allow them to be the best that they can be










Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role within the Food sector
  • Post-Secondary education in a related field
  • Proven track record of problem solving and issue resolution
  • Strong understanding of H&S regulations
  • Lead by example, professional, positive
  • Strong people skills, ability to interact at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills
