Robert Half is looking for a Payroll Manager to join a reputable organization located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. If you have strong analytical skills are ready to put your talents to the test, apply today!

Responsibilities

Processing bi-weekly payroll and verification of reports
*Oversee payroll administration team and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
*Oversee benefits and pension administration
*Collaborate with the benefit vendor and payroll service provider
*Keep up to date with the latest changes in payroll and benefits regulations
*Collect and analyze information including resolving payroll discrepancies
*Reconciling of employee deductions and other liabilities
*File company benefit and government statutory remittances
*Complete Year End processes
*Recommend changes to enhance the current payroll process
*Answer inquiries and requests related to payroll information

Job Requirements

Requirements

*Fluently bilingual in both official languages
*5+ years of Payroll experience
*Degree or diploma in a related field, including CPM designation
*Strong communication skills, both oral and written
*Strong analytical and collaborative skills
