Compensation: $75000.00 to $85000.00 yearly

Our client, a firmly established distributor in the Food Industry is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for full cycle payroll and benefits administrative tasks. US and Canadian Payroll experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of managerial experience.



Responsibilities


* Review, audit, and balance all payroll-related input to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits, compliant with federal and state regulations
* Coordinate payroll reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, etc.)
* Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning payroll
* Manage HRIS/payroll lifecycle of all employees
* Updates and maintains general ledger and accounting codes within the payroll system
* Provide customer service to employees in areas that relate to their pay, benefits, and taxes
* Prepares periodic payroll/benefits reports and other ad-hoc reports as required

Requirements

* University Degree or certificate in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent experience)
* Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification/CPM
* 3 years of experience of Full Cycle Payroll (minimum) is required
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
* Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
