On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Online Content Coordinator.

Online Content Coordinator – Job Description

  • Reporting to the Digital Services Manager, the Publishing Analyst will be responsible for managing the successful and rapid delivery of the day-to-day changes of web properties
  • Working closely with the Publishing Manager, the Publishing Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the successful and rapid delivery of the day-to-day changes for client's web properties.
  • The candidate will also perform analysis, project management and implementation coordination activities of small to medium size tasks and projects estimated at $100K or less involving several business units.
  • Support the rapid delivery of projects to website properties (includes: Business As Usual content changes, Marketing Campaigns, Corporate Initiatives, Regulatory changes, Channel projects, and more);
  • Assess client requests by understanding the business requirements, impact to clients and customers, and alignment to an integrated online experience
  • Document and coordinate all project related documents and activities (where required) including requirements, change requests, tracking, project status reporting, and communication
  • Coordinate deployment activities with Testing, Implementation Management and Support teams to ensure successful delivery and projects
  • Align work activities to support priorities as defined, ensure deliverables meet quality objectives (on time, on budget, delivered to meet business need), communicates project status and provide timely escalation of issues
  • Participate in annual planning to ensure ongoing support of activities are understood, supported and aligned from a budgeting and resource/skills perspective
  • Manage relationships directly with key partners including, Marketing, Incident Management, Product Groups, Digital Channels partners, external partners and various teams within the Digital Channel to ensure communication, collaboration and quality control
  • Represent Digital Channel as a subject matter expert and coordinate activities as they relate to projects to ensure impact, consistency and messaging are aligned. Deliver a consistent and positive client experience
  • Optimize content management and website administrative services
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, across various levels within the organization
  • Promote knowledge sharing and a consistent approach to delivery through the team

Online Content Coordinator – Mandatory Skills

  • 3+ years experience as a Content Coordinator/Project Mgr. in an online/digital environment with large online projects
  • NOT Web developers/Editors/Writers (needs someone that's worn many hats; Project Mgt. exp)
  • Knowledge of unique issues/trends relating to the delivery of browser/mobile-based applications
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, web page design/usability, including database design solutions
  • Flexible to work late, and outside of core hours to meet deadlines
  • Longevity in roles, promotions, and not a lot of gaps on resume
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal & written, to build relationships)
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience working in a very stressful environment (e.g. they may be expected to work until midnight on a Fri. night to meet deadlines)
  • Passion for the role (e.g. Someone with drive who wants to do what it takes to move up the ladder)
  • Extraordinarily detailed focused with emphasis on quality;
  • Strong relationship building skills to work collaboratively with other departments and at all levels;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, has the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage priorities and multi-task;
  • Strong conceptual and problem solving skills, can see big picture in a changing environment;
  • Organized, independent and self-motivated; ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team environment experience

Online Content Coordinator –Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience building & maintaining corporate or public-facing websites (around web content mgt.)
  • Familiar with project mgt. & analysis techniques (e.g. PMLC & SDLC methodologies & practices)
  • A technical orientation: familiar with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver
  • Knowledge of: Accessibility for people with disabilities (PWD), interactive marketing strategies/technologies/practices, search engine marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), web content management (WCM), web analytics, social media, mobile technology, web programming techniques, graphical design and multimedia techniques
  • Familiarity with French and/or Chinese languages
  • Formal training or experience with enterprise-level content mgt. systems (CMS) such as SDL Tridion
  • Post graduate degree
