Robert Half Technology is looking for an IT Infrastructure Operations Manager for our Client. As the successful Candidate you will be accountable for supporting and leading Team Members in the delivery of services for the Clients internal customer facing portfolio of services. Responsible for managing the end to end operational management of portfolio services. ? Accountable for multi-year strategic/operational plans to support projects and operational initiatives. ? In control of portfolio budget, variance tracking, and forecasting. ? Responsibility for the recruitment of team members and creating a positive environment in partnership with the Team Manager, with the goal of building and retaining innovative and engaged high performance teams. ? Accountable for the performance, availability, capacity, change, and major incident management of mission critical services in a 24x7 operational environment. ? Actively participates in on-call rotation for major incidents ? Manage projects within, and across, service portfolios in alignment with the corporate Project Management methodology. ? Maintain current as well as build new and effective customer and vendor relationships by understanding related business strategies and operational goals. ? Collaborate and communicate effectively with various levels of management and executive and provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. ? Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
? 5 + years proven successful working experience in providing direct leadership to teams (including Team Managers and PM?s) overseeing infrastructure related projects and operations. ? Demonstrated experience managing large cross-functional projects, enterprise-level technology rollouts, and operational initiatives. ? Demonstrated strengths in budgeting, planning, organizing, and delegating. ? Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong skills in verbal and written communication. ? Strong leadership, decision making and motivational abilities ? Exceptional relationship building, collaboration and social skills with excellent customer focus ? Ability to communicate in technical and business terms and demonstrate professionalism in all communications and interactions. ? Strong presentation skills including ability to present technical material to audiences with varying degrees of technical competence. ? Solid analytic and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented mind set and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects ? Ability to deal with very stressful situations and conflicting priorities professionally. ? Formal training and experience in ITIL/ITSM including process design, implementation, and continuous improvement is an asset. ? A degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute in a computer science or related program is required.
