Talentcor Professional has currently partnered with one of the largest real estate investment firm in search of a Maintenance Technician for a residential rental property complex in South Edmonton for an open ended term. This position reports into the Operations Manager and is responsible for participating in activities related to preventative or unscheduled maintenance, environmental, health and safety and other specified duties.

Your day to day will involve performing scheduled preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, as directed by the Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for completing suite turnover maintenance, maintenance of lighting and minor plumbing, along with maintenance of the swimming pool on a daily basis. You will coordinate and supervise trades work and accompany vendors and contractors while the work is being completed. Lastly you will need to be comfortable interacting with residents in a diplomatic manner.

To qualify for this role, you will need related experience along with an awareness of occupational health and safety management practices. Also, entry level skills in Microsoft Office. You will need to have good relationship building skills and be able to communicate in English effectively and professionally. An ability to work under pressure and manage tight time-lines will also be required. A police clearance is required for employment.
