Design Group Staffing is currently searching for Logistics Coordinator to work a 12 months contract in Cold Lake for one of our large Oil and Gas Owner/Operator clients. Scope of Work: The successful candidate will be accountable to provides end-to-end materials management services to clients:  requisitioning, logistics coordination, receiving, storage, kitting/staging, and deliveries for maintenance jobs and repairs/returns. Duties and Responsibilities: Act as primary interface between business line maintenance planner and Supply Chain Track goods receipt status of materials Support Business Line planner once WO is ready for execution Understand Business Line schedules for kitting Act as primary interface between vendors and Supply Chain Track open purchase orders Contact vendor to identify and resolve issues. Work with Supply Chain and Business Line teams to progress and resolve issues if needed Interface with vendor & arrange transportation and logistics Accountable for timely material delivery Support P2P recycle process with Material Analyst Plan and optimize break-in logistics in the general interest Support kitting services Provide work schedule to kitting coordinator Coordinate materials added or deleted from WO Expedite POs required for kitting Other responsibilities: Single point of contact at site for materials questions Coordinate materials needed for break in work orders Coordinate critical inventory reviews and annual materials reviews with Business Line for completion Support quarantined materials process and resolve issues timely Skills/Knowledge Developed Pre-Requisites Knowledge of business line planning and scheduling practices Advanced time management and prioritization skills General knowledge and application of materials Knowledge of vendor and 3PL supply base Procurement methods and procedures Knowledge of warehouse operations methods and procedures Advanced SAP skills (plant maintenance and EWM) Strong written and oral communication skills Problem solving and analytical skills Facilitation and coordination skills Influencing with and without authority Interfaces Vendors Maintenance teams includes planning, scheduling, execution Business Line Operations Materials analysts Kitting coordinators Third party services providers (Warehouse and Transportation & Logistics) Buyers, Expediters, Inventory Analysts How to Apply All interested applicants should send their resume and cover letter in MS Word to the attention of Sameer Moddin at [Click Here to Email Your Resume] We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted.
