We have been engaged to assist a firm located in downtown Toronto in the hiring of a Litigation Law Clerk for their insurance defence practice. Position: Litigation Law Clerk (Insurance Defence) Location: Downtown Toronto Salary: DOE Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package and OUTSTANDING Work Environment/ Atmosphere RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Knowledge of Dragon Dictation, ACL3 and PC Law are preferred but they are willing to train someone who feels comfortable with technology ? Prepare and draft correspondence and court documents including pleadings and motion materials, Affidavits of Documents, litigation briefs and summaries of evidence, bills of costs and mediation and pre-trial briefs, providing administrative support, including organizing and maintaining files
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: ? 4+ years of experience as a law clerk in defence litigation ? Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent ? Detail oriented with excellent proofreading skills ?
