On behalf of our client, Procom is actively seeking a Change Manager 

ITIL Change Manager Job Details 

  • Cover all production changes to all aspects of service design including changes to all architectures, processes, infrastructure, tools, metrics and documentation, as well as changes to IT services and other configuration items
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL framework including Change management, release management, and configuration management
  • Ensure all changes are recorded and managed in a controlled method 
  • Manage processes needed to design, transition, operate and improve services
  • Ensure all release packages can be tracked, installed, tested, verified and/or uninstalled or backed out if appropriate.
  • Lead Operational CAB/EC for all changes and authorize acceptable changes 
  • Update the Service Now change log with all progress that occurs, including any actions to correct problems and/or to take opportunities to improve service quality
  • Review all implemented changes to ensure they have met their objectives. Refer back any that have been backed out or have failed
  • Compile, analyze and report statistical data and trends relating to service level compliance and operational effectiveness

ITIL Change Manager Mandatory Skills 

  • University Degree in computer science/Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related discipline
  • Strong technical change management experience ideally ITIL certified and have several years leading a Change Management practice
  • Working knowledge of all key aspects of development and IT operations infrastructure through your 5+ years of development and IT Operations experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to keep team members focused on schedules and objectives, build strong team relationships, take ownership of individual and team results, and foster a sense of urgency and dedication to delivering on commitments.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem solving, organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing using technical terms with employees from various teams across the organization, adapting easily to changing priorities and needs, and working on multiple projects with tight, sometimes conflicting deadlines are required.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle, Tribe and Agile structure, ITIL processes, service standards, and experience with software repositories is crucial.
  • Demonstrated customer service, client relations and team leadership skills are required.
