Job Description:

Our Federal Government client here in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) has multiple 6 month + extension contract opportunities available for deskside IT Support contractor professionals. You must possess a valid Reliability Status security clearance and you must be Bilingual (English / French). If interested please apply directly to [Click Here to Email Your Resume]

  • Supporting operating systems, application software and various software automation tools and utilities
  • Providing IT and network support and maintenance including adding/deleting client accounts
  • Take ownership with providing desk-side support to end-users to trouble-shoot and resolve problems
  • Support end-users to resolve, on initial contact, incidents related to Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Exchange
  • Performing initial problem analysis and working with other appropriate staff as required to determine resolution
  • Maintaining liaison with network users and technical staff to communicate the status of problem resolution to network users
  • Create tickets and populate technical information for incident requests, changes and site access requests for clients
  • Identifying, escalating and tracking problem tickets associated with specific operating system images
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation
