Compensation: $80000.00 to $100000.00 yearly

Robert Half Technology is looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Client. As the successful Candidate you will be accountable for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to the project management methodology and project definition.
WHAT YOU’LL GIVE: Using your exceptional PM talents you will lead multiple IT projects including ERP projects, application projects, infrastructure projects and business intelligence projects within the overall IT project portfolio. Building and managing project teams and ensuring quality control throughout project lifecycles are central to this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
× Initiates projects following appropriate project management methodology including gathering and defining comprehensive project requirements, ensuring strategic alignment, developing project charters, project plans, presentations, budgets and schedules, determining staffing requirements, and forming cross-functional project teams.
× Ensures project documentation is current and up to date and manages and reports on project budgets.
× Defines and follows project management methods, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress.
× Balances workload, provides technical and analytical guidance and work direction to project team, including scheduling, assignment of work, review of project efforts and removal of roadblocks which inhibit project success.
× Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and assist in the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
× Identifies project risks and ensures strategies are in place for each to prevent negative impacts to the successful delivery of the project.
× Ensure projects meet JSOX compliance requirements and regulatory requirements.
× Assesses variances from the project plans, budgets and schedules, develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and quality objectives.
× Clearly communicate expectations, progress, milestones, risks and mitigating tasks to team members, stakeholders, steering committees and executive.
× Identifies potential areas for improvement in current methodologies and provides coaching to others leading projects
× Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project sponsors, vendors and key clients.
× Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion.
× Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements as well as determining processes to improve future projects.
× Maintains appropriate detail oriented designations and up-to-date knowledge of current information technology techniques and tools.
× Working with the Program Management Office to continue to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
× Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team and escalate as required.
× Coach, motivate and lead project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability and ensure appropriate quality for their assigned work.
× All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
× 5 - 10 years proven working experience in a Project Management role
× Expertise in ERP technologies, specifically in leading application integrations and systems and infrastructure projects
× Project Management training and certification
× Excellent discipline and time management skills to plan, manage and deliver results within a team and independently
× Ability to travel to where the work needs to be done and to work productively in a distributed team environment
× Ability to influence without authority
× Well-organized and detail-oriented
× Above average communication and interpersonal skills - ability to quickly understand and accurately interpret meaning, purpose and importance. Ability to facilitate operational meetings.
× Ability to proactively identify and manage risk
× Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving competencies, with the ability for devise creative, workable solutions with established policies and a customer focused approach to resolving issues.
× Diploma, certificate or other post-secondary education in a related field
