Robert Half Technology is looking for an IT Manager for our Client. As the successful Candidate you will be accountable for developing and implementing IT solutions to drive operational improvements, the role will be instrumental in recommending, developing and leading future growth paths for software, technology and processes throughout the company.

Your demonstrated ability to lead team of up to 5 people and implement IT projects across a workforce of 25 to 125 users will ensure success for you, your team and the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
× Learning and understanding the business and client expectations. Lead upgrades and enhancements to existing legacy software products, introducing new applications for business needs (i.e. document imaging, Business Intelligence, E-commerce application integration, SharePoint intranet, etc.)
× Coordinate successful deployment of IT projects including hardware, software, services and policy/process implementations
× Overseeing outsourced vendors for system maintenance, network security, cloud and ISP connectivity, along with websites/email/CRM workflow and other communication methodologies.
× Provide management with information through research of emerging technologies, analysis of data, monitoring of trends and recommendations to support decision making impacting the business
× Collaborate with Business Development and Business Solutions to support the management of customer interfaces with the Maves transactional systems, for EDI functionality, E-commerce applications, 3rd party systems, and create transparency required by clients.
× Act as a technology liaison between the company, clients and vendors ensuring high quality, timely and effective support for all hardware, software and systems
× Develop and manage SOPs for all IT procedures and processes.
× Aid in developing and managing IT-related budgets and costs for all business units, client projects and implementations
× Look for ways to improve and promote quality accuracy and thoroughness within the various operations.
× Research, evaluate and implement best practices. Provide results reporting on productivity and efficiency gains made through technology adoptions achieved.
× Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
× 6+ years proven working success in an IT role in a business or industry environment (non-governmental) along with 3+ years in a project management or implementation leadership role, and demonstrable results from in-house teams, outsourced contractors and managed vendors on specific project assignments
× Excellent knowledge and working experience of some type of legacy software solution plus all the usual IT hardware and software including DB2, Microsoft applications, Office 365 exchange, domain servers and active directory, ERP software, cloud computing environments, security systems, network infrastructure, along with related peripherals
× Strong track record for analyzing complex problems/issues, identifying patterns and recommending creative solutions.
× Demonstrated strength in planning, organizing and delegating with both people and work.
× Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.
× Proactive and takes initiative. Thinks creatively. Drives projects to completion. Insists on highest level of quality.
× Exceptional and demonstrated commitment to customer support are critical.
× Ability to work well with people and to lead and inspire them to do their best work every day.
× Solid delegation and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented mind set and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
× A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field from a recognized post-secondary institute is required.
× Project Management education (PMP or similar) or related change management expertise within the Technology industry
× Knowledge of RF scan and bar-code traceability processes used in warehousing/manufacturing would be an asset, as is integration with client SAP systems and EDI/web-store/shipping-courier interfaces.
