Are you experienced in Internal Auditing? Are you looking for a fast paced, dynamic organization to join? We are working with a company in the Wholesale Distribution industry that is looking to add an auditor to their growing team. This position would be responsible for both finance and operational audits and would be working in the business units, not just at the corporate level. This opportunity is a full-time role located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Key responsibilities

- Document test results and offer support for an informed, objective opinion of the risk exposure
- Develop detailed audit observations and recommendations to management both verbally and in writing
- Perform special research and projects as needed
- Conduct internal audits and SOX testing; to include compliance with policies and procedures and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control structure
- Assist in mapping and documentation of processes to identify key risks and integrity controls
- Perform regular follow-up on both open and past due internal audit and SOX observations
- Assist in coordination of third-party compliance assessments and audits
- Efficiently relay project status to members of the team
- Help develop a variety of audit programs by setting the objective, scope, and work program of individual audits


- Public consulting or audit experience; internal corporate audit experience also acceptable
- SOX experience desired
- Strong understanding of IFRS reporting standards
- Experience and understanding of risk and controls
