Our busy Fraser Valley manufacturing client is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their team and work closely with the Controller. Responsibilities will include accounts receivable, inventory control and analysis and month end processing.

How you will make an impact

- In-depth knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts
- Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request
- Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner
- Partake in various department-wide initiatives
- Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls.
- Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal, communication and Excel skills and be working toward their accounting designation with a minimum of 3 years of hands on relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or processing environment.

As the successful Intermediate Accountant, you must be / have:

- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
- Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory analysis
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- Experience with account analysis
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- Competent with spreadsheets and databases
- Recent and relevant accounting experience
- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
