Our Fraser Valley client has an exciting and challenging role open for a Human Resources Manager.

Working for a great company steeped in longevity and culture, this Human Resources Manager will be overseeing most HR functions such as; recruitment and selection, compensation, benefits administration, training, union and employee relations.

Duties also include preparing, processing, updating and maintaining a wide range of confidential employee records, files, correspondence, forms and other documents, preparing a variety of correspondence and reports by conducting research and reviewing data on several diverse issues. Providing quality customer service to employees is critical to be successful in this role.
Job Requirements
As the Human Resources Manager, you will have experience in / possess:

- Effective and relevant job recruitment and selection processes.
- Facilitating the effective communication of human resources practices to employees and management.
- Supporting the health and safety practices across the organization including membership on the Health and Safety Committee.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and deal effectively, tactfully and with complete confidentiality with employees, members of the public and other departments in the interpretations and administration of human resources related matters and in the collection and distribution of data.
- Proactively investigate, analyze and recommend changes for Company’s existing internal HR processes and programs to achieve best practices.
- Labour relations
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Strong leader with exceptional written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep organized
- Able to take direction and follow through completion
- Strong comprehension skills
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or Business Management.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience supporting staff in a manufacturing/ industrial environment is a must
- Must have Labor Union experience in negotiating, bargaining and grievances
