Classification: Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Compensation: $15.20 to $17.60 hourly

OfficeTeam currently has a fantastic opportunity for a skillful and driven Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will have a number of duties, including owning a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This opening is with an organization in the Toronto, Ontario area and is a short-term temporary position.

Key responsibilities

- Manage a number of administrative duties

- Use the internet to inquire into potential customers

- Update employee database information

- Organize new employee on-boarding orientation methods
Job Requirements
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

- At least 1+ years of HR related experience desired

- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

- MS Outlook experience

- Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS

- Deep understanding of costpoint

- Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment

- Skilled with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

- Highly professional and able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
