Our clients located throughout Calgary are looking for HR Generalists to temporary join their teams!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responding to employee inquiries, providing guidance and recommendations for conflict resolution, redirecting or escalating as appropriate
  • Providing consultation and advice to Managers on a variety of employee relations and human resource issues
  • Participating in full cycle recruitment processes inclusive of creating job postings, screening applications, conducting interviews and preparing employment offers on behalf of the hiring Manager
  • Prepare employment documentation including offer letters, new hire packages, compensation plans and termination documents
  • Developing and/or supporting the execution of human resource guidelines, policies and procedures that adhere to the applicable legislation, regulations, etc
  • Gather and analyze data with useful Human Resources metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Providing coaching and counseling to Managers and employees where appropriate
  • Preparing and distributing additional ad-hoc Human Resources reports upon request by Management to meet business needs
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as required.
 



  • 3+ years experience as a Human Resource Generalist
  • Strong understanding of general human resources principles, best practices and applicable HR legislation
  • Experience with handling employee relations including formal complaints
  • Able to adapt in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Experience with high volume recruitment
  • Exceptional communications skills; verbal, written and presentation
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, including Management and Executive levels
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
