Talentcor Winnipeg is recruiting a Health and Safety Coordinator for our client in the construction industry. In this role you’ll be responsible for monitoring, coaching, training and investigating all Health and Safety within the Organization. This is a newly created role in their organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Policy implementation and evaluation
  • Ensuring COR status is maintained
  • Provide orientation, education and policies
  • Provide training
  • Investigate incidents and provide a monthly report for safety meetings
  • Act as point of contact for all safety vendors and the Construction Association of Manitoba
  • Conduct regular job site audits to ensure compliance is met
  • Staying up to date on training and best practices as well as Legislation
  • Health and safety manual


  • Minimum 3+ years in a Health and Safety role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound judgement
  • Customer service skills with both internal team and external clients Enjoys being part of a collaborative team approach Experience with writing and presenting complete reports
