We currently have an opportunity available to be based out of White City, Saskatchewan for the position of:



  • Prepare, coordinate, and review annually the safety and OH&S policies, procedures and Standard Operating Practices
  • Coordinate internal and external employee training including scheduling, coordinating venues and catering, updating training matrix, and creating and distributing training cards
  • Assist the Sales and Management teams with HSEQ documents, statistical data and company information for tender bidding
  • Assist with maintaining K-Line’s corporate certificates (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and COR Standards), and assist with WCB/WSIB reports and claims
  • Coordinate apprenticeship program through scheduling, monitoring apprentice hours, generating Payroll Change Notices (PCNs), assist with ECAO/ECA reimbursement, processing apprenticeship documentation and entering invoices
  • Coordinate pre-apprenticeship workshops including maintaining resumes, preparing workshop documentation, mark completed tests and record data using Excel, and participate in apprentice interview process
  • Provide education on safety, OH&S issues and risks, policies and practices through creating and conducting safety meetings
  • Develop and maintain record keeping systems for all documents related to health, safety, quality and training
  • Coordinate documentation of Subcontractor(s) hired on projects by maintaining approved Sub-contractor lists, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and provide Certificates of Insurance, WCB clearances, etc.

Job Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety role
  • Minimum two (2) years’ related experience providing Administrative support
  • Minimum of one (1) year Auditing experience
  • Demonstrated computer software proficiency with E-Compliance and Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • High School Diploma is required
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 standards
  • Completion of Certificate of Recognition Auditor program is required.
  • Completion of related Auditor certification is required
  • Completion of or working towards Certified Safety Officer certificate/designation is an asset


  • Strong sense of safety with the ability to act as an ambassador and promote the organization’s health, safety and wellness agenda
  • Knowledge of relevant occupational health and safety workers’ compensation legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards & best practices, and relevant quality standards & best practices
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Communication – excellent ability to clearly and effectively communicate information and clarify requirements both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and diligently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels
  • Ability to handle direction and guidance from multiple sources
