Talentcor Professional has partnered with an Owner Managed National Real Estate firm in search of a General Manager for a retail property in Red Deer Alberta. Our client has over 20 billion in assets under management across Canada. The position reports to the Director, Retail Property Management and is responsible for every aspect of the property including the financial, marketing, leasing and service divisions at the property.  
To be successful in the position you need to assist and lead in the development and implementation of strategic plans for each division whether it be leasing, operations or other. You will provide leadership and develop and foster relationships with tenants, suppliers, staff and co-works to maintain strong team collaboration.
To qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role; General Management, Property Management or experience working in management for a large retailer. You will bring experience managing and leading a team.  An exciting aspect of this opportunity is that our client is open to considering an ‘up and comer’ ready for that next step and challenge in their career. Their current Director is happy to train and mentor the right individual.  You will need to be a strategic thinker, committed to achieving goals and possess an ability work well within strict time-lines and to be proactive.  The ideal individual will be a good communicator, collaborative and forward thinking. A Bachelor degree or Real Estate designation would be considered an asset.
