An excellent opportunity to work for a well-known international company here in Manitoba. We are looking for Field Research Assistants for a term position close to Winnipeg, West area. This is your opportunity to gain valuable experience and essential knowledge in crop experimentation!
Term is from Sept 6 – October 26, 2019

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Seed sampling and seed counting
  • Assist in operating various farming equipment
  • Harvesting and threshing of bagged plant
  • Pot washing and pot filling
  • Other duties as assigned



  • BS Degree and at least 3 years of appropriate work experience within a crop research environment 
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Possess strong ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail
  • Ability to concentrate for sustained periods of time
  • Detail oriented, great organization and ability to prioritize daily tasks    
  • Flexible attitude and ability to learn new procedures
  • Ability to work under diverse environmental conditions in the growth room (e.g. heat, cold, wind, dust)
  • Field or growth room research experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (Location is 8 minutes from Unicity on Hwy1)
$15-18 / hr wage
