Division Director, Robert Half Management Resources - Calgary




Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a focused and results-oriented Division Director to join our team. Dividing your time between team leadership and business development, you will be responsible for motivating and directing the recruiting and business development team and assisting in the creation of business and performance goals, as well as personally building upon existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities for project financial consulting services. You are a confident, motivated person with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills – and you enjoy a fast-paced team-driven environment.

Job Summary:

As a Division Director, your responsibilities will include both team leadership and personal business development activities:

Team leadership activities:

  • Hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, retaining and managing the performance of your direct reports.
  • Motivating and directing the recruiting professionals on your team.
  • Ensuring incremental growth of divisional revenue is consistent with company targets.
  • Working with Senior Management to develop the division’s business and performance goals.

Business Development activities:

  • Cultivating opportunities for accounting, finance and business systems consulting projects and interim staffing needs.
  • Identifying and discussing future project initiatives with clients.
  • Matching consultants’ skill sets with client engagement requirements and ensuring clients’ expectations are met.
  • Participating in professional industry associations to increase our presence within the local finance and accounting community.

  • Accounting or finance degree.
  • MBA and/or CPA (CA, CMA or CGA) is highly desirable; other desired professional designations include CIA and CISA5+ years’ experience working in a Big 4 or international public accounting/consulting environment or large corporate finance/accounting environment preferred.
  • 5+ years’ of relevant professional services or recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years’ of management experience is a strong asset.
  • Excellent business development, recruiting, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to discuss and define project requirements with senior-level executives.
