As the Director Growth and Digital you are responsible for defining and executing Vidyard’s growth and digital strategy.  You thrive working in the middle of product, marketing and operations to build and maintain the industry’s best web experience as well as define and execute high velocity experiments, both on web properties and within product to achieve business growth objectives. The successful candidate will be curious in nature, not afraid to push the limits of the possible and advocate for the benefits of working within high performing cross functional teams to drive results.

As Vidyard’s reverse freemium GTM strategy continues to gain momentum, the successful candidate will be an integral contributor to both new user acquisition and conversions across all digital touchpoints.  While part of the marketing leadership team, this role will work extensively with key teams across the organization to foster a growth mindset and digital first approach.

Responsibilities 

  • Define, lead, and execute on Vidyard’s user acquisition, digital marketing and user growth initiatives to deliver an exceptional experience across a customer’s digital journey
  • Build and manage Vidyard’s paid media and search strategy
  • Define, execute and always be optimizing Vidyard’s SEO strategy 
  • Stay current with digital trends and technical innovations in order to champion ongoing improvements
  • Ensure a  frictionless user journey across all our web properties (web health, digital marketing campaigns, CRO, product sign up, etc)
  • Utilize data insights to develop new growth strategies and initiatives
  • Project manage the implementation and analysis of experiments (communicate requirements, manage tasks, report on outcomes, etc.)
  • Make high priority trade-offs between performance, speed to market, usability, short-term and long-term success
  • Work with business development, marketing segment leads, and operations to define and execute experiments that drive scalable enterprise business through the product
  • Become a champion for experimentation and innovation who isn’t afraid to bend the rules and identify and selectively bypass internal processes that limit forward movement
  • Lead and grow a cross functional team of digital and marketing experts

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in growth, digital marketing, product management or other related function at a company focused on product lead growth, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical experience
  • Track record of prioritizing, communicating and influencing teams
  • Experience in analyzing data to identify the highest impact problems to solve and simultaneously driving tactical execution
  • Proven experience in delivering technology/data products and services

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience driving business results through funnel analyses, conversion, user acquisition, retention and go-to-market strategies
  • Hands on experience leading data-driven digital strategy, innovation and roadmap development and familiarity with iterative web design and development
  • Ability to design and report on experiments leveraging such tools as Intercom, Appcues, Mixpanel, Heap and Periscope 
  • Experience developing products, technologies and platforms with significant user traction
