Classification: Data Entry Clerk

Compensation: $16.15 to $18.70 hourly

OfficeTeam currently has an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled and motivated Data Entry Clerk who is looking to start their career with us! We are looking for a data-driven expert who has great attention to detail and looking to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment. You will be expected to have intermediate experience in spreadsheets and proficiency in database management. Do you have lightning quick and accurate typing skills and impeccable organization? Then this is the Data Entry Specialist role for you! This short-term temporary Data Entry Clerk role is based in the Toronto, Ontario area.

Key responsibilities

- Explore the internet for information

- Seek further information for documents that are considered to be incomplete

- Categorize information into spreadsheets, databases and customer relationship management systems

- Review and remove nonessential data as well as combine data from multiple sources

- Investigate reports and sheets of data

- Methodically review completed work, checking for computation errors or duplicate values before submitting the final product

- Retain detailed accounts of tasks, files, and progress
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Customer service experience

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Order entry experience desired

- Competent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

- Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment

- Proven typing accuracy
