Customer Communications Specialist

We’re looking for a Customer Communications Specialist who is passionate about the customer lifecycle and can create compelling communications for each step of the customer journey, from prospecting to engagement and retention. This role will report into the Communications Manager.
 
Objectives:
 
Attrition reduction:
  • Understand the key moments in our customer’s lifecycle and execute high quality, compelling and personalized communications with the help of our Creative agencies
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to create reporting on campaign conversion rates and make recommendations to improve results using a test and learn approach
  • Plan and execute robust email campaigns including our customer e-newsletter
  • Champion the use of digital communication channels such as email, mobile and the customer self-serve portal
  • Lead email gathering efforts throughout the company to grow our customer email database
 
Sales support:
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to define their offerings and shape the product message
  • Plan and execute the production of Sales material (such as print and digital flyers, white papers and video content) that will allow our Sales team to close new business
  • Publish weekly bulletins to key internal stakeholders regarding new pricing and products
 
Revenue generation:
  • Implement campaigns for revenue generation among existing customers
 
Required Skills and Experience:
 
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills (English writing test required)
  • Working French is an asset
  • Deep passion and empathy for the customer
  • Extensive experience with new digital communication technologies and KPIs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business (Master’s Degree an asset)
  • Minimum of 5 years working with lifecycle communications
