As their verticals grow, they are seeking for an ambitious Construction Manager to join their team in Vancouver, B.C. As the Construction Manager, you will be reporting into the Director of Construction and you will be overseeing the requisition process of all division work from inception to contract.

Your role will be focused on four major areas:

Owner/Developer Liaison -- Consultant Interaction - - Pricing Interaction - - Contract Interaction

You must understand construction from all angles including estimation, project management and client service. The client prides itself on putting quality first and delivering on projects to create an on-going solid relationship with trades, construction professional as well as with clients.

Crucial Requirements 

  • Extensive local B.C experience on projects from start to finish. Experience with commercial and institutional projects will be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in an estimating or scheduling software, such as Bluebeam or Procore
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills - ability to communicate effectively clients, the team, and trade partners
  • Combination of business development and writing skills - ability to write proposals and RFP responses
