If you’re looking for an opportunity to get your foot in the door in an entry level communications role and you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, we want to hear from you!

About the Communications Lead Role:

The most successful companies are brilliant storytellers, who put their products—as well as the benefits of those products—front and centre in every communication.

Our communications team is responsible for telling our story directly to consumers.  As a Communications Lead, you will proactively engage consumers directly at communications campaigns taking place throughout Oakville.  You will report to the Communications Director, and work closely with global and regional Communications teams, as well as cross-functional partners.

What You’ll Do as a Communications Lead:

  • Establish our client’s brands and profile during direct marketing communications campaigns, telling the story around our client’s telecommunications services and recommending the services that best suit each customer.
  • Educate consumers on product/service offerings, and develop a marketing plan to support the company’s business development and marketing goals
  • Oversee B2C marketing including proactively canvassing throughout the Oakville territory and selling direct to consumers.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Communications Director.

What You’ll Need as a Communications Lead:

  • 0-1 years’ experience or internship in a communications, public relations, or marketing role an asset.
  • Education in communications, marketing, journalism, business management, or related fields an asset.
  • Self-starter: We’re a company of entrepreneurs and we want to work with people who enjoy building things from the bottom up too. Stuff changes fast in our world so you’ll need to be highly adaptable as well as calm under pressure
  • Great advocate: We’re looking for people who can distill complex ideas into simple arguments.
  • Team player: We’re looking for people who enjoy working with others to get stuff done—and who can deal with the ambiguity that sometimes comes from working cross-functionally
