Position Summary:
 
The position holder will be responsible for leading the commercial initiatives for the assigned geographic region and ensuring that sales exceed objectives. The incumbent will train, hire and develop a sales team and maintain excellent business relations with internal/external partners and suppliers.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Delivery of the Sales budget on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Focus on creating a high energy sales culture
  • Lead and coach a commercial sales team in all aspects of the sales process
  • Identify methods of technical support for the sales reps
  • Constantly find ways to improve sales performance by assisting, training, coaching and developing
  • Develop a lead management system to effectively generate sales prospecting activity
  • Foster, encourage and stimulate self-generated sales
  • Provide support for prospect profiling and identify vertical markets to target
  • Performance Management of sales representatives on an ongoing basis, including their activity level, funnel & pipeline and performance vs objectives
  • Organize and take part in a variety of activities to further develop the attributed territory
  • Recruitment and selection of top talent
  • On boarding and sales skills development training
  • Integration sales skills training and coaching
  • Provide and organize Sales Material & Marketing Resources
  • Participate in planning and organizing various lead generation, events, including trade shows and exhibitions and other local strategic alliances
  • Build working relationship with other departments
  • Activity in the Security community i.e. ASIS, CANASA, etc..
     
     


Job Requirements


 
Education:                            
  • University Diploma in Administration or management or in a related field         
 
Experience:                          
  • 5-7 years of experience in field sales management in a related field with preference to the Security industry
 
Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the Internet
  • Leadership skills and attributes
  • Develop and exploit strategic alliances
