Talentcor Toronto is looking for a Claims Administrator, for a client located in Toronto . Salary will be $50 K – $ 65 K depending on the experience.

What will you do?

The Claims Administrator role has many diverse and interesting responsibilities, the primary ones are outlined below:

  • Follow/administer the claims process from inception to resolution. Liaise with our quality specialists to understand the details of each claim and the appropriate next steps.
  • Process all required paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
  • Continuously follow up with suppliers to inquiry the status of the claim and ensuring that resolutions are provided by the supplier (i.e. credits, discounts, etc).
  • Communicate claims update to all parties involved.
  • Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting tools
  • Post credits in Business Vision
  • Follow up on outstanding claims payment.
  • Keep track and update internal error log.
  • Arrange for materials to be shipped to the factory or to be scrapped.
  • File and maintain all records; create and maintain metrics on claim type, frequency, supplier issues, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • What type of experience and skills do you have?

  • 2+ years experience in a claims administration or related position
  • 1+ years experience in a project manager role or related position
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
  • Ability to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Strong aptitude and ability to provide unparalleled customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong and accurate data entry, processing and administrative skills
  • Able to learn and work on various ERP systems.
  • Must be self-directed and self-reliant
  • Successful completion of Criminal Background Check

    What is considered an asset?

  • Knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook and Business Vision (BV)
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with internal and external parties.
