On behalf of our client in the Professional Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Change Manager.

Change Manager – Job Description

  • As Change Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of the change management function of the organization as part of the HR team and facilitation of Change Management Plans for the implementation of transformational projects.
  • You will support the implementation of the change management function for the organization including, organizational design, tools, processes, training, and a role-based implementation plan
  • You will conduct and coordinate the activities required in the external client-focused change management plan, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, communication, training, delivering presentations, readiness tracking, knowledge transfer and various forms of learning and education
  • You'll identify resistance gaps and developing solutions to address, partner with transformation team leadership to eliminate barriers and ensure execution of key change management plans, and align people, processes, and platforms to drive delivery of change management plan
  • You will drive awareness of change management programs by leading the measurement, tracking, and reporting of project plan progress, develop reporting strategies and key performance indicators, craft status overview summaries of transformation projects for senior leadership review, and present initiatives to steering committees and executives
  • You will work collaboratively with all project work stream leaders, support execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, develop and communicate business plans and priorities, and demonstrate flexibility and supporting continuous learning
  • You will actively identify risks to successful change adoption and working collaboratively to develop and implement appropriate responses
  • You will identify and address opportunities for process improvements (for example, training, documentation, etc.)
  • You will oversee, monitor, and measure the execution and effectiveness of change management efforts through data gathering and measurements in order to provide analysis on their effectiveness for executive management and project team consideration
  • You'll provide advice and support to the project team on advancing project outcomes and support transformation project leadership in their role as change champions
  • You will partner with key stakeholders within the department, including business partners, program and project managers, process improvement specialists and technology subject matter experts, as well as with technology vendor partners, on change management work
  • You will maintain a 'customer-centric approach' on all change management deliverables and practices

Change Manager – Mandatory Skills

  • Relevant post-secondary education combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, including large scale projects
  • Experience building the change management function in a global organization
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and senior management
  • Expert knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and change processes
  • Professional change management certification (i.e. CCMP, Prosci, etc.)
  • Project management knowledge and experience
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Organizational skills to prioritize, manage and integrate work plans for a variety of projects
  • Ability to think and plan strategically as well as manage conflicting demands, urgent tasks, and changing priorities
  • Strong understanding and ability to analyze different forms of data, synthesize information to anticipate future trends and consequences and create innovative and flexible plans
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and display a high level of professionalism in-person, verbally and in written formats
  • Ability to deliver professional presentations to diverse audiences, including senior management
