We are currently recruiting for a Bridge Management and Rehabilitation Specialist based in the Vancouver Area. Working closely with a well-established team of technologists and engineers, this offers the opportunity to work with various large clients to grow your presence in a competitive market.

The client is a Canadian owned and operated company. They provide consulting engineer services to a variety of industries around the country, including Water, Infrastructure, Energy and Environmental sectors.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of Bridge and Transport Structure Management Services
  • Inspect and Manage all services for clients from both public and private sectors
  • Plan, develop and coordinate the costing of multiyear operational plans
  • Life-cycle costings
  • Long term capital planning
  • Development and maintenance of the transportation asset management systems using AMX software
  • Liaising directly with clients
  • Growing and developing the company outside of British Columbia
  • Travel as required
Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Project Management experience will be highly regarded
  • Eligibility for professional licensing with EGBC or ASTTBC.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in planning and completing bridge inspection projects.
  • Familiarity with various bridge inspection and management systems across Canada
  • Database management skills are an asset
  • Familiarity with bridge maintenance and management methodologies
The individual chosen for this role will be highly creative, professional, hardworking, achievement focused, analytical and organized.  Strong attention to detail, planning and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.  Must be able to work in Canada without Company sponsorship.
