We are currently looking for a Bilingual Dealer Technical Support Manager to join our team in Montreal, QC.

This role will be responsible for assisting dealers to resolve vehicle repairs, which the dealer has been unable to repair; instruct technicians in proper diagnostic and repair procedures and analyzes dealer service department operations to provide constructive feedback to dealership and NCI staff. Perform vehicle incident investigations and prepares related reports. Represent NCI as a technical expert for internal and external activities including CAMVAP (arbitration) and legal cases.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

  • Assists in resolving vehicle repairs which dealer are unable to diagnose and repair.
  • Communicates with engineers and TechLine staff to identify report and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct detailed investigations, research and prepare IIR (Incident Investigation Reports) of potential legal and product liability incidents.
  • Acts as NCI’s representative and expert witness for arbitration and product liability litigation.
  • Reviews dealership service department processes and procedures, technical training and special tool inventory to identify areas of deficiencies and recommends solutions.
  • Provides technical expertise and support for NCI media and press events.
  • Efficiently analyze technical information from various sources and diagnose with recommendations to NCI departments, affiliates and dealers.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University or College Degree required (Engineering degree, Automotive Technologist degree would be an asset)
  • 5-7 year of  Automotive Technical experience
  • Good general knowledge of dealership service operations.
  • Knowledge of the principles of automobile collision and fire investigations is an asset
  • Superior technical diagnostic skills
  • Good working knowledge of all MS Office products
  • Bilingual French/English- Strong verbal & written communication
