Assistant Property Manager 

Talentcor Professional is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our clients’ team in Vancouver. In this role, you will support the Property Management team in the day-to-day operations, providing outstanding service to our tenants and customers. 

This is a one (1) year contract position.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for: 
• Ensure prompt and courteous attention to tenant requests 
• Visit tenants and develop ongoing relationships to understand tenant needs and concerns 
• Write tenant communication letters 
• Arrange and complete Tenant move in/out inspections and process 
• Tenant lobby use, marketing, company functions and charitable events 
• Marketing and events including posters, ENN screens, lunch and learns, building wide events 
• Oversee Conference Centre’s, Fitness Centre’s, Tenant & Specialty Leasing Lobby Events 
• Lease interpretation and ensure adherence to requirements 
• Provide supervision and support to the property administration team on ensuring accuracy of billing and collections are received on time 
• In the event of default, prepare and deliver notices to tenants with respect to landlord’s remedies under the lease, recommend legal action and assist legal counsel as required 
• Preparation of monthly a quarterly reports variance analysis, forecast analysis, monthly accruals and annual budget preparation 
• Liaison with Head office personnel as required 
• Monitor and complete as required the leasehold improvement allowance and parking requirements as per the lease 

To succeed in this role, you: 
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Property Management required 
• Post-secondary degree with focus in business or real estate 
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities under pressure with careful attention to detail 
• Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills 
• Enrolment in RPA/CPM is preferred 
• Familiarity with LEED EB submissions, BOMA Best and BOMA Certificate 
• Strong Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required, basic Knowledge in JDE preferred 
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral 
• Strong interpersonal skills for working closely with customers and tenants
