The Assistant Manager, Menu Communications & Merchandising is responsible for the success of in-restaurant promotional materials and for communicating the menu strategy across all menu concepts, including development, implementation, and optimization of menu communication systems to maximize sales, reinforce our positioning, and improve guest satisfaction with our target audience.

This position reports to the Manager, National Sales Promotions.
The Assistant Manager, Menu Communications & Merchandising must develop excellent internal working relationships primarily with the Marketing team, Purchasing & Distribution, Operations, and restaurant operators. Important external relationships include the digital menu agency, advertising agency, external suppliers, and consultants.
Exceptional logistical, analytical, organizational, time management and communication skills are required. The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail is key. The ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines under pressure is extremely important. The successful candidate must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be driven to deliver results.
This position requires a diverse set of project management skills, business knowledge and influence skills in order to effectively gain support for initiatives from franchisees and restaurant operators.

1. Responsible for communicating the menu strategy across all menu communication systems including print, digital, and self-order kiosk to maximize sales, reinforce our positioning, and improve guest satisfaction with our target
2. Responsible for the development and coordination of content for print and digital menu boards. Key working relationships include the Brand Print Services team, advertising agency, and digital menu agency.
3. Responsible for the continuous testing and evolution of menu communications to maximize sales and restaurant profit, and optimize the performance of promotions.
4. Responsible for the design and composition of POS kits that complement the menu board and effectively merchandise promotions. Key working relationships include the advertising agency and Brand Print Services.
5. Effectively communicate national and regional sales promotions to all restaurants in order to improve the in-restaurant execution and guest experience.
6. Contribute to ideal Climate of the organization by fostering regular progress toward the achievement of our Climate Goals and develop and maintain effective working relationships Head Office partners, our franchisees, and our
external supply partners.
Job Requirements

- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a Marketing specialization. Minimum two (2) years of hands-on experience in consumer marketing is highly desirable.

- Visual Merchandising experience desired

- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
