Design Group Staffing is currently recruiting for an Asset Integrity Lead for a large oil and gas client. 

 

Position Overview:   

The Asset Integrity Lead will provide leadership to a team of 8 to 10 individuals comprising of Asset Integrity Engineers and In-Service Inspectors.  You will be responsible for managing and overseeing workload, practices, and processes to optimize effectiveness on site. 

 

Status:  Permanent

Location:  Fort McMurray.  Fly in - fly out available from either Calgary or, Edmonton on a 4/3 rotation.  5-star camp accommodations will be provided which includes a private individual room. 

 

Responsibilities:

        
  • Lead the operations for the full life cycle of asset integrity engineering of fixed plant equipment
  •     
  • Develop strategic solutions to prevent corrosion and optimize production
  •     
  • Maximize equipment uptime, optimize plant shut downs, extend turnaround intervals, identify asset integrity improvements for plant performance
  •     
  • Manage the execution of Asset Integrity programs, as well as identifying and mitigating integrity risks
  •     
  • Collaborate with operations team to support Asset Integrity Programs
  •     
  • Work directly with regulatory authorities, integrity vendors, engineering contractors, and inspection contractors to manage integrity related issues
 

Qualifications:

        
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Asset Integrity supporting plant operations.  This includes the integrity of pressure equipment as well as corrosion management.
  •     
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading a team
  •     
  • Must have oil sands experience, but will also consider those with plant operations experience
  •     
  • Experience working with regulatory authorities, integrity vendors, engineering contractors etc.
  •     
  • Engineering Degree or an Engineering Technical Diploma is required.
