JOB DESCRIPTION

On behalf of our client, an international leader in industrial automation, we are hiring for an Assembler/Wireperson. In this role, you would be responsible for wiring and assembly carried out under minimal supervision. You would plan and carry out assembly and/or wiring procedures working from wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, pick lists, and bills of materials. You will also need to troubleshoot unusual wiring and/or assembly problems and make design change recommendations if needed.
Other duties required include:
* Lifting heavy components (50+ pounds)
* Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations as well as company policies and procedures
* Wiring both control and large power wire and determine best wiring routing
In this role, you will bring:
* Experience wiring and assembling electric/electronic components
* Able to complete any and all mechanical assemblies
* Able to pass a written and hands on wiring qualification test
