Agile Team Lead – Procom KW is currently searching for an Agile Team Lead for a role with our large financial services client based in Waterloo for a full-time permanent position in their brand new offices.

Agile Team Lead Responsibilities

  • Lead teams though inception, construction and transition phases
  • Facilitate communication with Stakeholders including Steering Committee meetings and status reporting
  • Run agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, planning, retrospective, coordination meeting
  • Monitor progress on all team activities on a daily basis
  • Support the team when change is introduced
  • Understand ways to manage change
  • Ensure stories are ready for the team and sized correctly
  • Encourage full participation of team members within their defined roles and responsibilities
  • Monitor and track team Velocity
  • Ensure delivery of business value via Agile Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks
  • Promote any opportunity for cross-training and learning amongst team members
  • Participate in Vision creation with Product Owner and track release progress

Agile Team Lead Mandatory Skills

  • 2+ years of experience as an agile coach, agile team lead or product owner applying agile practices
  • Experience in the IT landscape in a project management or operational role
  • Agile certification
  • Experience making decisions and conducting yourself in a manner consistent with the values and principles of Agile
  • Experience creating and maintaining conditions that allow the team to be successful
  • Experience delivering products and services to customers and improving the delivery process while managing deadlines and can make decisions that are risk and value driven

Agile Team Lead Nice to Have Skills

  • Previous experience in mortgage, insurance or finance.

Agile Team Lead Start Date

As soon as possible.
